The sea trout is also called the fish of a thousand casts. This is certainly partly true, but it may be outdated. Usually, the key to success is finding eating fish. If you achieve that, you usually are succesful.

The sea trout stocks in the Baltic Sea have improved significantly in recent decades through the work of associations and institutions in the field of renaturation. 

This can also be seen on the German coasts, but the pioneer of habitat improvements was and is certainly the island of Funen in Denmark. For almost three decades, streams have been renatured here, sea trout hatched and released and finally protected through sustainable tourism. The result is impressive: there is hardly a better place than the island of Funen if you want to get to your coastal sea trout.
